Welcome to Grizzly Flats Community Services District. On these pages you’ll learn about our small mountain community’s water system, how it was developed and our plans for the future. The Grizzly Flats Community Services District is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, south-east of Sacramento, CA. The District has the responsibility of providing treated water for domestic use and fire protection to the residents within its service area. Approximately 1220 parcels exist in the service area. Elevations of the service area vary from 3600 feet at the southwesterly end of the area to 4200 feet at the northeasterly end. The District has about 600 service connections. The mission of the Grizzly Flats Community Services District (GFCSD) is to maintain the highest ethical standards for its Board members and employees while providing quality water in a fiscally responsible manner for the community of Grizzly Flats.
