Grizzly Flats Community Services District was formed with the following resolution on October 7, 1987: Resolution 387-87
Grizzly Flats CSD’s governing body is the Board of Directors which consists of five directors. Directors have a vested interest to operate the business of the District to the best of his or her ability and conscience during their four year term of office. Board members are required to complete ethics training every two years. Click here for our current Ethics Training certificates.
GFCSD Board members are required to live within the GFCSD district boundaries and are elected by voters within the district during even year elections. Board members spend between 2 and 10 hours per month (hours may vary depending on special assignments or committee tasks) working on district business without any compensation. Our Board members, past and present, regularly volunteer their time, equipment and expertise to help cut costs for GFCSD customers and get things done to improve our water system and our community.

The District has a policy to reimburse Directors for travel expenses that are necessary, reasonable, ordinary, legitimate, permissible, and actually incurred when traveling on authorized District business. If you wish to discuss an item with the Board, you may attend our meetings and speak during the “Public Comment” section if the item you wish to discuss is not on the meeting’s agenda. The Board cannot take action on items not on the agenda. To get an item onto the agenda for one of our regular Board meetings, complete the following form: Agenda Request Form
Regular Board meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at the District office (4765 Sciaroni Rd, Grizzly Flats, CA 95636). Agendas are posted at the district office, and on the District’s website at least 72 hours before regular meetings and 24 hours before special meetings (per California Brown Act, Government Code §54950 et seq.).
