2024/2025 Budget Adoption Process

The Budget & Finance Committee (made up of the District Treasurer, two Board Members, and the General Manager) is in the process of preparing a proposed budget for the 2024/2025 fiscal year.

The proposed budget will be available for inspection by the public starting on Friday, June 21, 2024, after 12:00 PM.  You can request a copy of the proposed budget by phone or email during our normal office hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM) or view it on our website at www.grizzlyflatscsd.com.

The GFCSD Board of Directors will review and discuss the proposed budget at their special meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 6:00 PM.  Any person may appear and be heard regarding any item in the budget or regarding the addition of other items to the budget.

The GFCSD Board of Directors plan to adopt the final budget at their regular meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 6:00 PM or at any special meeting, properly noticed and held prior to September 1, 2024.

Clearwell Replacement Project Request for Proposals

Grizzly Flats Community Services District (District) is soliciting proposals for qualified bidders to assist with our Clearwell Tank Replacement Project.  The work includes structural design and construction of a 200,000 gallon capacity welded steel tank in accordance with AWWA D100-21, for the purpose of treated potable water for the Grizzly Flats community. Performance and prescriptive criteria (specifications and plans) were provided by Owner for project bid, however final construction documents are the responsibility of the tank designer, including foundation. Work includes preparing and grading site for tank pad, locating utilities, demolition work, tank foundation, tank, installation of tank inlet/outlet piping and appurtenances, overflow pipe, tank access, interior and exterior coatings, electrical conduit and grounding, relocation of existing utilities, erosion control systems, site security, disinfection and testing of pipes and tank, clean-up of site, and other work as needed to provide a complete and functioning potable water tank as defined in the contract documents and applicable construction standards.

Any changes, additions, or deletions to this RFP will be in the form of written addenda posted on this webpage. Consultants must check the website for addenda or other relevant new information during the response period. The District is not responsible for the failure of any proposer to receive such addenda.

A pre-bid walk through will be provided for all prospective bidders to review the work sites and address Bidder questions. The pre-bid walk through will be conducted at 2 p.m. (NEW TIME) on Tuesday June 18th, 2024 (NEW DATE) at the Owner’s Main Office located at 4765 Sciaroni Rd, Grizzly Flats, CA 95636.

Due Date:  Proposals must physically be in our office no later than 2:00 P.M. on July 9, 2024 (NEW DATE). Electronic submissions are acceptable as long as they meet the deadline. Proposals may be submitted using one of the following methods:

1. By mail to: Grizzly Flats CSD, P.O. Box 250, Grizzly Flats, CA 95636-0250; or
2. In person at: Grizzly Flats CSD, 4765 Sciaroni Road, Grizzly Flats, CA 95636.

This project requires payment of prevailing wages.
